The beauty of The Big Design Market is that it delivers a one-stop Christmas shopping experience to an audience who value original, ethically designed, quality products.

Enjoy the month-long Christmas celebration with concerts in Martin Place and Christmas on the Green, Hyde Park.

At each venue, you will meet 5 artists and discover a diverse selection of locally designed and handcrafted works including fine digital art, functional and decorative ceramics, handmade silver, resin, sea glass and fashion jewellery, sculpture, homewares, woodwork, vintage clothing, felted garment

Over three hours, you'll leisurely cruise around the harbour alongside a friendly and experienced Tour Guide, who will take you to a range of important and interesting sites, including Goat Island, Garden Island, Mort's Dock, Woolwich Dock, Spectacle, Snapper and Cockatoo Islands.

Support women in business and do a spot of shopping for Christmas at the many stalls there to participate on this great night.

There will be lots of unique shopping opportunities with arts and crafts, heaps of gourmet food and the kids will have a blast at the epic jumping castle alley and many other activities just for them.

This unique community event is presented by BLIA, an organisation consisting of lay Buddhists who observe the practice of Humanistic Buddhism in daily life.

There'll be heaps of awesome family fun activities for all ages: car demonstrations, vintage car display, food and wine tasting, rides and other children's activities, musical performances and dance spectacular, and Special Olympics sports demonstrations.

Centennial Parklands is home to a variety of nocturnal creatures, from brush tail possums, micro bats, tawny frogmouths to one of Sydney's largest colonies of grey headed flying fox.
